Characteristics of Business Services Services
The business is divided into five characteristics which are listed below.
(1) intangible
These are intangible assets, they can not be touched.
They have no physical presence.
Only anyone can test it.
It is important to provide a quality service to the customer, such that the customer can feel the favorable experience.
Example: teaching by teachers, doctor treating patients etc.
(2) inconsistency
There is no consistency within services as there is in physical products.
Each time you provide a service it has to be performed exclusively.
The demands and expectations of diversified customers are different.
Each time the service provider has to switch the service accordingly.
(3) inseparability
For simultaneous production and consumption only in the case of services.
If we produce products today, they are often sold later.

Inventory services cannot be stored for long term.
It has no physical component.
Demand and supply of service is very on the brink of 1 post .
A service that has to be offered to the customer when asked to do so.
For example: McDonald's burger is often stocked but the taste can only be experienced, airline tickets are often stocked and flight is often experienced.

Sharing services are provided as necessary by consumers.
It engages consumers in the service delivery process.

It is offered voluntarily to achieve social goals.
Example: Providing educational and health facilities for workers and their relations.
(3) Personal Services:
This is not consistent in nature.
Different consumers have different services.
They depend on the priority of the customer.
Example: tourism, restaurant, etc.
Business services can also be a general term describing work that supports a business but does not produce a tangible good. Information technology (IT) is perhaps an important business service that supports many other business services such as procurement, shipping, and finance.
Good business service aligns the IT assets with the desires of the company's employees and customers and support business goals, facilitating the organization of the company to be profitable. The price documentation provided by a business IT department often includes an audit of IT infrastructure operations, creating or updating a catalog of IT services and/or providing an employee self-service portal to enhance communications.
